Continues Online by Popular Demand
Fees Lowered over 40% to $10/credit hour

tvsetwebcast08In 2008, the Academy and its 27 co-sponsoring organizations produced the first major medical conference ever held entirely in cyberspace with its webcast on "IMAGERY, SUGGESTION, AND MIND/BODY MEDICINE." This program was broadcast online to a worldwide audience from May to December, 2008, and featured video presentations by Jeanne Achterberg, PhD; Daniel Benor, MD; David Bresler, PhD, LAc; Hyla Cass, MD; James S. Gordon, MD; Dennis Jaffe, PhD; Stanley Krippner, PhD; Lewis Mehl-Madrona, MD, PhD; Emmett Miller, MD; Dean Ornish, MD; Kenneth R. Pelletier, PhD, MD(hc); Martin Rossman, MD; Francine Shapiro, PhD; C. Norman Shealy, MD; David S. Sobel, MD, MPH; and Andrew Weil, MD among others.

Guest faculty included best-selling crime novelist James Ellroy on envisioning addiction and sobriety; legendary Hollywood film producer Peter Guber, on the "Power of the Narrative"; and pre-eminent security expert and best-selling author Gavin de Becker, on “The Gift of Fear.”

AGI's Second International Webcast
Call for Presentation Proposals
tvsetwebcast09This year, the Academy will present its 2nd International Webcast which is scheduled to be broadcast online in September, 2010.

The theme of the webcast will be “IMAGERY, ANXIETY, AND STRESS” and will focus on new mind/body-related diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to helping people cope more effectively with stress and anxiety. If you would like to be sent updated information about this upcoming webcast as it becomes available, click here.

If you are interested in joining our faculty for this conference, you are invited to submit a Webcast Presentation Proposal form to the Academy’s Conference Committee for review. All proposals just be submitted by May 15, 2010.
